Investing in Mutual Success: Innovation, On-the-Job Training & Support

If you’re thinking of opening a restaurant franchise, choose a brand that’s ready to invest as much in you as you are in them. At Jack in the Box, we believe in investing in our mutual success – that means we’ve created countless resources designed to help franchisees stay on the right track towards growth. Here, learn about a few of these programs.

Innovation to Simplify the Responsibilities of a Franchise Owner

Let’s face it, you want to be part of a brand that is forward-looking and on the cutting edge of technology. At Jack in the Box, we do just that. Innovation has always made Jack in the Box a standout among quick-service restaurants. We were the first major chain with a drive-thru, lead the way on digital displays, pioneered the self-ordering kiosk, and much more. Today, we continue to utilize the latest technology to innovate for our franchisees, drawing more customers into their businesses while also simplifying their responsibilities.

The technology in our stores makes it easier than ever to manage employee schedules, payroll, inventory, financial records, and much more. Once you’ve mastered these systems, you’ll find that it’s simpler than ever to keep your restaurant running smoothly.

On-the-Job Training

We want our franchisees to run their businesses with confidence, which is why we provide them with initial and ongoing training throughout the life of their business. You'll enjoy 10 weeks of initial training at a designated Franchise Training Restaurant. Via hands-on learning, classroom training, and computer-based training, you’ll master the systems that keep Jack in the Box restaurants on track.

Once you finish your initial training, we’ll keep you and your staff updated on best practices through ongoing training and updates to our policies. It takes time and capital for us to offer ongoing training, but we see it as just one more investment in our mutual success.

Support

Jack in the Box supports franchisees in countless ways as they grow their businesses. A few examples include:

  •   Quality initiatives to ensure that you’re meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  •   A National Franchise Advisory Council to ensure that your needs are heard
  •   Menu implementation of new programs and products
  •   Local, regional, and national marketing programs
  •   Our innovation center which acts as a hub for research and development, marketing, food safety initiatives, and more

We’ll continue creating new programs and refining our existing programs so that franchisees are supported throughout the life of their business. This philosophy has already proven popular with franchisees, many of whom have been with Jack in the Box for decades!
